About the job
The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data models, dashboards, and reports that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Close collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights is a key part of the role.
What will you do?
- Design and build efficient data models, cubes, and Data pipelines to support Analytical dashboard and reporting needs
- Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Analytics tools like Dundas BI, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize queries and data processes for performance and scalability
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all environments
- Create and maintain documentation for data sources, models, and dashboards
- Contribute to data governance, standardization, and quality control initiatives
- Support ad hoc reporting and data exploration needs
We are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role
- Strong experience with SQL, MySQL, PGSQL and relational databases
- Experience with BI tools such as Dundas BI, Power BI, Tableau, Cognos
- Understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake, OLAP)
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing principles
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
